Soar Utah is a biennial event held at Point Of The Mountain flight park. The next scheduled event will be Labor Day weekend Aug 00- Sept 000. . Friday we usually have an Aero Tow at Grantsville. Our tow planes can pull 6+ meter gliders. Saturday is the official judged portion of the Soar Utah event Held at The Point Of The Mountain Flight Park.
There are several categories for official judging of scale aircraft. Following the competative portion of the event we have open flying for the rest of Sat and Sun. Racing includes F3F exhibition heats where the fastest man of the day wins. Man on Man with 1 desogn 60” racers which includes 4 like planes on the coarse, raceing is held in the afternoons both Sat and Sun. Monday is up to Francis peak at almost 10,000 feet elevation for some high alpine soaring.
